Stop and regulating valves are manually operated valves for use in industrial refrigeration applications where for instance a pipe section needs to be shut-off during service and maintenance. The valves are in sizes from DN 6 mm (¼ in) up to 300 mm (12 in.). The valves are designed to give favourable flow characteristics and are easy to dismantle for servicing. The valve cone is designed to ensure perfect closing. Applicable to all common refrigerants including ammonia (R717) and non corrosive gases/liquids dependent on sealing material compatibility.

KP thermostats are single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) temperature operated electric switches. KP is used for regulation, but can also be seen in safety monitoring systems.   • HFI float valves, high pressure
HFI is a float valve for high pressure with internal liquid measuring device. The float valve is designed for direct flange mounting or welding on to plate heat exchanger type condensers. HFI is direct acting, and consequently no differential pressure is required to activate the valve. Owing to its simple design HFI is sturdy and reliable. The float valve is equipped with a purge valve for purging non-condensable gases

AKS 38 is an electro-mechanical liquid level switch designed to provide a reliable, electro-mechanical response to liquid level changes. AKS 38 can control liquid level in vessels and accumulators or can be used as a low/high level safety alarm.     SFA 15 are safety relief valves - back pressure dependent - in angleway execution, specially designed for protection of vessels and other components against excessive pressure.

    The valve is recommended as an external and internal safety relief valve in refrigeration plants. The spring housing is closed tightly to avoid refrigerant leakage.

    • BSV safety relief valves, back pressure independent
    BSV 8 is a safety relief valve - back pressure independent, designed for protection of small components against excessive pressure.
    BSV 8 is an angleway valve that can operate with a very high back pressure. It is designed to meet the strict quality demands and safety requirements for refrigeration installations as specified by the international classification societies.
    As the valve is back pressure independent, it is recommended for use as an internal safety relief valve. However, it can also be used as an external safety valve. The spring housing is tightly sealed to avoid refrigerant leakage.
    The inlet flow diameter of the BSV 8 is 8.0 mm (5/16 in.).
    BSV 8 is available with set pressures between 10 and 25 bar g (145-363 psi g), and also with individually assigned ”TÜV pressure setting Certificate”.

    • POV safey relief valve, pilot operated
    POV safety relief valve is used in conjunction with the BSV back pressure independent safety valve and is specifically designed for protecting compressors against excessive pressure.

    • DSV change-over valve 
    DSV are 3-way valves designed specifically for use with double safety valve systems, but are also suitable for other purposes. The valves are equipped with threads for nipple/flange connection for easy inspection or replacement of safety valves.
    DSV are designed to meet the strict quality demands on industrial refrigeration installations specified by the international classification societies.

    EVRA is a direct or servo operated solenoid valve for liquid, suction and hot gas lines with ammonia or fluorinated refrigerants. EVRA valves are supplied complete or as separate components, i.e. valve body, coil and flanges can be ordered separately.

    • EVRAT solenoid valve, assisted lift, normally closed (NC)
    EVRAT is an assisted lift, servo operated solenoid valve for liquid, suction and hot gas lines with ammonia and fluorinated refrigerants.EVRAT is specially designed to open - and stay open - at a pressure drop of 0 bar. The EVRAT solenoid valve is thus suitable for use in all plants where the required opening differential pressure is 0 bar.EVRAT is available as components, i.e. valve body, flanges and coil must be ordered separately. EVRAT 10, 15 and 20 all have spindle for manual operation.

    • ICLX 2-step solenoid valve, one or two step on/off
    ICLX 2-step solenoid valves belong to the Flexline™ range.
    ICLX are used in suction lines for the opening against high differential pressure, e.g. after hot gas defrost in large industrial refrigeration systems with ammonia, fluorinated refrigerants or CO2.
    The ICLX valve is factory configured to open in 2 steps. By following a simple procedure the valve can be configured to open in 1 step only.
    In 2-step configuration, step 1 opens to approx. 10% of the capacity after the pilot solenoid valves are energized.
    Step 2 opens automatically when the pressure differential across the valve has decreased to approx. 1.5 bar.
    The ICLX 2-step solenoid valve comprises five main components: Valve body, top cover, function module and 2 pilot solenoid valves. On ICLX 32-150 the top cover and function module are factory-assembled.

    • GPLX 2-step solenoid valve, gas powered
    GPLX are 2-step solenoid valves, normally closed (NC). They are designed for hot gas defrosting, liquid lines, suction lines and other applications.The valves have a built-in pressure equalising system preventing pressure shock and therefore eliminating the need for external bypass with resultant cost savings. GPLX are angle valves with weld connections.

    • EVRS / EVRST solenoid valves, stainless steel
    EVRS and EVRST are valves made of stainless steel. EVRS 3 is direct operated, EVRS 10, 15 and 20 are servo operated, EVRST 10,15 and 20 are forced servo operated valves. EVRS and EVRST are used in liquid, suction, hot gas and oil return lines with ammonia or fluorinated refrigerants. EVRS and EVRST are supplied as components, i.e. valve body and coil must be separately ordered. EVRS/EVRST 10, 15 and 20 are equipped with spindle for manual opening.

    • PML/PMLX, pilot valves operated
    PML/PMLX valves are servo-operated main valves with screwed-on pilot solenoid valves. They use an external pressure source for opening, and consequently no differential pressure across the valve is required. PML valves can be used in all types of refrigeration systems, e.g. with direct expansion, pump recirculation or natural circulation, and can be installe in suction lines, return lines (liquid/vapour), pressure-equalizing lines and bypass lines. PMLX valves are used in suction lines for the opening against high differential pressure, e.g. after hot gas defrost in large industrial refrigeration systems. PMLX opens in two steps to avoikd pressure shock in the system.

    The ICF EVRAT retrofit valve incorporates three functions in one housing, which can replace the widely used direct coupled FA EVRAT, as a drop-in solution.

    AKVA are electric expansion valves designed for ammonia refrigeration systems. The AKVA valves are usually controlled by an ADAP- KOOL® electronic controller.

    The Line Components product range includes filters and strainers, stop check valves and check valves for use in refrigeration and air conditioning plantswith ammonia (R717) as refrigerant. The filters are used in front of automatic controls, pumps, compressors etc. for initial plant start-up and where permanent filtration of the refrigerant is required. The filters reduce the risk of undesirable system breakdowns and reduce wear and tear on plant components.

    • SVL multifunction valve
    SVL multifunction valve body, made from low-temperature resistant cast steel and suitable for a maximum working pressure of 52 bar, is welded or soldered into the pipes to create a fully hermetic coupling. The valve body will never have to be replaced, because it does not suffer any wear. All products in the SVL platform can be used with all commonly used refrigerants incl. HFC and HCFCs.
    The backbone of the SVL platform is the common valve housing, which is available in angleway or straightway execution.
    The complete top parts offer five different functions: Stop valves SVA-S and SVA-L, Regulating valves REG-SA and REG-SB, Stop/Check valves SCA-X, Check valves CHV-X and Filters FIA. All five complete top parts fit the same housing and they all have the same high specification making selection, system design and mounting simple and trouble free.

    • NRVS check valve
    Check valve type NRVS is for use in liquid line applications. NRVS is designed to be mounted directly to PM or solenoid valves EVRA/EVRAT. SVL multifunction valve body, made from low-temperature resistant cast steel and suitable for a maximum working pressure of 52 bar, is welded or soldered into the pipes to create a fully hermetic coupling. The valve body will never have to be replaced, because it does not suffer any wear. All products in the SVL platform can be used with all commonly used refrigerants incl. HFC and HCFCs.
    The backbone of the SVL platform is the common valve housing, which is available in angleway or straightway execution.

    • NRVA check valve, for ammonia and fluorinated refrigerants
    Check valve type NRVA can be used in liquid, suction and hot gas lines in refrigeration and air conditioning plants with ammonia. NRVA can also be used in refrigeration systems with fluorinated refrigerants.When NRVA is used in liquid lines where cold thick oil or impurities may be present, it is recommended that the standard spring be replaced by a special spring.

    SCA-X are check and stop valves with built-in stop valve function. SCA-X valves are available in angleway versions. The valves are designed to open at very low differential pressures, allow favourable flow conditions and are easy to disassemble for inspection and service. SCA-X valves are equipped with vented cap and have internal backseating enabling the spindle seal to be replaced whilst the valve is still under pressure. Laser cut V-ports provide excellent opening characteristics (SCA-X 50-125). The valve cone has a built-in flexibility to ensure a precise and tight closing towards the valve seat.

    KDC is a pressure control valve. The valve controls the discharge pressure of the compressor to ensure fast build-up of pressure and lubrication pressure. The valve also acts as a check valve in the discharge line of the compressor.The KDC valve is force-controlled. When pressure in the oil separator is 2 bar (29 psi) higher than the suction pressure, the spring is compressed and the valve opens. In low pressure units (boosters), the spring requires a differential pressure of 0.5 bar (7 psi) for the valve to open.
